Outing to Blickling Lodge

This is confirmation of a club garden visit to Blickling Lodge on 22 June at 2.30pm.

Blickling Lodge is a Georgian house (not open) set in 17 acres of parkland including cricket pitch, mixed border, walled kitchen garden, yew garden, woodland/water garden.

You will need to make your own way there, but it will be worth it for this group private visit to gardens which do open under the National Garden Scheme, but are opening especially for us. It will also be a great opportunity to catch up and meet face to face for a chat rather than talking via Zoom!

Admission is £5.00 each, but unfortunately at the moment they are not offering refreshments, but you can bring your own and there are plenty of benches in the grounds to rest your weary legs.

To enable me to advise the owners of the Lodge of numbers, could you please confirm by the 15th June whether you intend to join us. Payment is at the entrance.

Leave Aylsham on Old Cromer Road towards Ingworth. Over hump back bridge & house is on the right.
