JULY MEETING CANCELLED

Bad news I am afraid. Due to the forecasted heatwave next week our speaker has cancelled. He suffers with asthma and the recent heat has been affecting his voice and due to the very high temperatures expected next Tuesday he has decided to cancel in advance rather than on the day.

However, this has also led us to the decision not to seek a replacement speaker and to cancel the meeting altogether for Health and Safety reasons. With the temperature in Reepham predicated to still be in excess of 30degrees at 7.00pm on Tuesday evening opening the doors at the Town Hall wont solve the heat problem and we don't want anyone suffering with heat exhaustion or worse!

We are ever so sorry for this but look forward to seeing you at the Summer Show on the 16th August.

‘We’ll Meet Again – An Evacuee’s Story’

Bryan has a background in professional theatre and a passion for plants. After his excellent performance of ‘The Perennial Mr. Potter’ a few years ago at the Garden Club he has been invited back for his portrayal of Billy Jackson, who was evacuated with his sister to a small farm near Bury St Edmunds
